Route and stops
This hop on hop off bus follows a 70-minute route that stops
at the essential places of interest around the city. Throughout the journey you
will listen to pre-recorded commentary in English on the sights you can see as
you pass through the capital.
Some of the most interesting stops are the lovely Vondelpark,
the Royal Theatre Carré, the Heineken Experience, the Jewish Museum, and the
Wester Market.
How does it
work?
The pass is valid for 24 or 48 hours from when it is first
used. For example, if it is activated on Monday at 3 pm, it will be valid until
Tuesday or Wednesday at 3 pm (depending on which ticket has been purchased).
During this time, you can hop on and hop off the bus as many
times as you want. This allows you to discover scenic canals or even visit the
original Heineken distillery.
All bus tickets are valid for three months from the date you
have selected when making the reservation.
Save money with
a canal boat cruise
If you would like to see Amsterdam from a different point of
view, you can buy a combined ticket that includes a canal boat tour. There are
two different tourist boat routes to choose from: the green line (2 hours and
40 minutes long), and the blue line (1 hour and 50 minutes long). You can see
the itineraries in the above map of Routes and stops.
Timetable and
frequency
Each line has a different timetable and frequency.
Red Line (bus): 9:10 am - 6 pm, every 15-20 minutes.
Green Line (boat): 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, every 20-25 minutes.
