out on the Australian National Heritage listed Great Ocean Road. Discover this
area of incredible natural beauty on one of the world's most scenic coastal
drives and marvel at the new views of roaring surf, endless beaches, rocky
promontories and enormous cliffs are revealed round each bend.
You'll make stops along the coast to better experience the
magnificent scenery, as well as having a relaxing break with coffee or tea and
scrumptious cake. Experience the incredible wildlife in the area as you visit
one of the best places in the country to see koalas in the wild.
Stop for lunch (not included) in the beautiful Apollo Bay,
known for its gastronomy as well as its surf culture. Savour a delicious lunch
at a local café, after which you'll have time to wander around the town's shops
or even take a refreshing dip in the ocean.
With renewed energy, take a stroll in the ancient rainforest
of the Great Otway National Park, home to numerous colourful parrots as well as
eucalyptus trees and towering native hardwoods - some of the tallest trees in
the world.
Next, head to the Port Campbell National Park where you'll
see the majestic Twelve Apostles. These dramatic limestone stacks will leave you
awe-struck by their immense size and beauty. Learn how they were formed and why
only eight remain standing, out of twelve.
The Loch Ard Gorge will you be your next stop: a paradise
beach surrounded by luscious wildnerness, the gorge also has a fascinating
maritime history - this area isn't called the Shipwreck Coast for nothing!
Having made the most of an
