DAY 1: DUBLIN
Arrive Dublin, transfer to your
hotel. Check in to your hotel in Dublin. Dublin, capital of the Republic of
Ireland, is on Ireland’s east coast at the mouth of the River Liffey.
Overnight in Dublin.
DAY 2: DUBLIN PASS

DAY 3: DUBLIN - CORK - CHARLEVILLE
Board Belmond Grand Hibernian at
Dublin Heuston Station in the early afternoon. Indulge in a sumptuous Irish
afternoon tea as the train weaves its way through the lush countryside to Cork,
a former European Capital of Culture. Arriving at The Jameson Experience in
Midleton, a resident expert accompanies you on an early evening tour of the
distillery, where you enjoy highlights such as the world's largest pot still
and a nip or two. Rejoin the train for a leisurely dinner before making your
way to the Observation Car for lively entertainment.

DAY 4: CHARLEVILLE - CORK - KILLARNEY - CHARLEVILLE
Breakfast is served as the train
travels south for a visit to Blarney Castle, home to the legendary Blarney
Stone. Enjoy a private tour and an opportunity to kiss the stone in
time-honoured style. You then pause for morning coffee in a private location within
the magnificent grounds.
Lunch is served as the train
continues west, through emerald hills, towards Killarney on the shores of Lough
Leane. A fun ride in a traditional jaunting car (pony and trap) takes you through
the beautiful national park to scenic Ross Castle, where you enjoy a boat trip
around the islands of the lake. After a delicious dinner on the train, local
musicians will surely inspire you to leap to your feet for some traditional
''ceili'' dancing!

DAY 5: CHARLEVILLE - GALWAY - ATHLONE
Enjoy a leisurely morning on board
as the train travels north towards Galway. Alternatively, disembark after
breakfast for an optional excursion to the dramatic Cliffs of Moher, towering
over the Atlantic waves.
On arrival in Galway, a lunch of
local specialities is served in one of the city's convivial restaurants.
Afterwards, you have the option to join a walking tour of the charming centre
with its medieval lanes, riverside cathedral and Spanish Arch, or to explore
independently at leisure. Returning to the train, dinner is served as you bid
farewell to Galway and Ireland's dramatic west coast. The train stops and Overnight
in Athlone.
DAY 6: ATHLONE - WESTPORT - ROSCOMMON
Breakfast is served en route to
the leafy Georgian town of Westport. Disembark for a scenic drive through
County Mayo towards Ashford Castle, in the atmospheric heart of Connemara
National Park. Following lunch at the castle, a private falconry display demonstrates
the prowess of majestic hawks and a guided walk takes in the estate's
breathtaking grounds. Rejoin the train at Westport in perfect time for
pre-dinner drinks.

DAY 7: DUBLIN - BELFAST - DUNDALK
Enjoy breakfast as the train winds
its way back to Dublin. Alight to join an optional tour of the city's superb
cultural treasures, quirky pubs and lively shops. Rejoin Belmond Grand
Hibernian in the early afternoon. Lunch is served on board as the train travels
north through the verdant Irish countryside.
On arrival in Belfast, you embark
on the famous Black Taxi Tour, which takes in both the Republican Falls Road
and the Loyalist Shankill, separated by a Peace Wall. Learn what life was
really like during the Troubles, admire the colourful murals and discover how
vibrant Belfast has become today.
Afterwards, delve further back in
time at the award-winning Titanic Experience, which brings to life, through
special effects, full-scale reconstructions and interactive features, the history
of the celebrated but ill-fated ocean liner. Back on board, a leisurely dinner
is served, which is followed by vibrant evening entertainment.
Overnight in Dundalk.
DAY 8: DUNDALK - WATERFORD - BAGENALSTOWN
This morning, the train journeys
south to the historic Viking port of Waterford. Disembark to visit Curraghmore
House, home to generations of the Waterford family, where you enjoy an
exclusive tour and afternoon tea. The magnificent mansion boasts some of the
finest neoclassical rooms in Ireland, while its expansive formal gardens
include an intriguing shell house built by Catherine, Countess of Tyrone, in
1754.
You are then escorted to the House
of Waterford Crystal for a fascinating factory tour, which reveals how master
craftsmen still create sparkling pieces by hand. Return to the train for a
sumptuous dinner, which is rounded off with a performance by traditional local
musicians in the Observation Car. The train stops overnight in Bagenalstown,
also known locally as Muine Bheag, on County Carlow's River Barrow.

DAY 9: BAGENALSTOWN - DUBLIN
A leisurely breakfast is served as
the train travels south and returns to Dublin Heuston Station, your journey's
end. You are free to make your onward travel arrangements from here.

DAY 10: DUBLIN HOTEL – AIRPORT TRANSFER
After breakfast, Check out and
depart to Dublin Airport to take your flight back, or continue to explore
Ireland at your own request.
