Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Auckland

Arrive Auckland Airport and transfer to your city center hotel in Auckland. Check-in and rest of the day at your own leisure.

Overnight stay at Auckland.

Day 02: Auckland: City Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, explore Auckland City Tour. Travel through the city centre, including Auckland's famous Queen Street, Karangahape Road with its chequered past and eclectic vibe and fashionable Ponsonby. Cross over the Auckland Harbour Bridge, enjoying views of the Hauraki Gulf and city skyline, and visit the Viaduct Harbour and the revitalised Silo Park waterfront precinct.

Day 03: Auckland – Waitomo Caves - Rotorua

After breakfast, continue your journey from Auckland to Rotorua and explore Waitomo Glow Worm Caves on your way.

Later arrival to Rotorua by the evening, check-in at your hotel.

Day 04: Rotorua: Rotorua Eco Thermal Valley Half Day Tour

After breakfast, join your coach to commence a unique half day journey through Rotorua's most natural geothermal parks: Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland and Waimangu Volcanic Valley. The local naturalist guide will explain the volcanic processes of Rotorua and New Zealand as clients see volcanoes, geysers, mud pools and hot springs. The two heritage parks offer a variety of thermal activity. At Wai-O-Tapu, the colourful hot springs are the key features along with the famous Lady Know geyser. At Waimangu Volcanic Valley the guide will explain the Mt Tarawera eruption of 1886, which blew open this spectacular, now bush-covered, geothermal park.

Day 05: Rotorua – Christchurch (FLIGHTS INCLUDED)

After breakfast, transfer to Rotorua Airport and fly for Christchurch. Arrive Christchurch and check-in to your hotel.

Day 06: Christchurch: Half Day Christchurch City Tour + International Antarctic Centre

After breakfast, enjoy Christchurch city sightseeing guided tour. Explore Hagley Park, the Avon River and Botanic Gardens, Mona Vale garden and  iconic heritage buildings of Christchurch. Also visit New Regent Street with its unique Spanish architecture, and the Re:Start mall, a unique shopping and entertainment mall with retail space consisting of temporary buildings made from shipping containers. Admission to the International Antarctic Centre is also included. The centre is full of informative displays showcasing modern day Antarctica. Most of the exhibits ensure visitors experience Antarctica in a fun and interactive way.

Day 07: Christchurch - Queenstown (FLIGHTS INCLUDED)

After breakfast, transfer to Christchurch Airport and fly for Queenstown. Arrive Queenstown and check-in to your hotel.

Day 08: Queenstown: Milford Sound Cruise & Coach Tour

An early start following the shores of Lake Wakatipu, and through Te Anau where you will be enthralled by the immense landscape. Travel through beech forest, passing majestic mountains, on through the Homer Tunnel in time to board your catamaran for the Milford Sound cruise. Cruise past Mitre Peak, the highest mountain in the world to rise vertically from the sea, and admire the Stirling and Bowen Waterfalls as you cruise out to sea.

Day 09: Queenstown: Optional Activities (CHECK RATES BELOW)

Today after breakfast, enjoy many adventure activities in Queenstown, like Bungy Jumping, Bungy Swing, Shotover Jet Boating, Skydiving, Paragliding, Skyline Gondola with Luge Rides and more. Check rates for each optional activity below this itinerary.

Day 10: Queenstown – Departure
